A pharmacist is specialised in medicine and fulfilled the prescriptions mentioned by the doctors. They also assist the patients regarding their medications.These professionals have the insights of the cause, effect and side effects of the medications.
Here are some obligations, a pharmacist needs to follow:

Qualifications required to be a pharmacist:
- Complete 10+2 standard (although in any stream, but preferably in science stream.)
- Have an Under graduation degree which may include:3
- Bachelor of Pharmacy(BPharm)
- Diploma in Pharmacy(DPharm)
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D)
- Finish a Post – Graduation degree which may be either one from:
- Master of Pharmacy(MPharm)
- Doctor of Pharmacy(Post-Baccalaureate)
If you are more interested towards research areas in medication area , then you may also pursue Ph.D. in Pharmacy, but it’s an optional step for you to become a pharmacist.
Get a state license to start your practice.
How much time one should devote to pursue it?
Although , it basically varies from person to person in accordance to their zeal & passion towards the concerned.
As, it takes only a 2 year diploma after 10+2 to become an entry level pharmacist.
Is it very hard to study the subjects related to pharmacy?
Again, it only depends on the students’ mindsets whether they consider their studies easy or hard.
But , if you study with a devotion, then you will never realize any subject difficult or uninterested.
